Ballyclare Colts U12s 1 Northend United U12s 1                                  Saturday 28th April 2012

This was a much improved performance from Northend from their previous outing but they were missing a few key players for this match.
In a fairly even match, Ballyclare took the lead in the first half and held the lead until half time. The team was somewhat reorganised with Jamie Stevenson dropping into defence to partner Declan Dobbin and with Jordan Adams and James Hayburn providing width to the team down their wings.

Northend came out the stronger team in the second half and equalised midway through the half when Matthew Kirk scored from close range after the keeper had only parried James Hayburn's excellent cross.

Indeed as Northend went in search of a winner in this game, James Hayburn saw two excellent shots cannon off the Ballyclare crossbar and clear to safety. However it wasn't to be Northend's day and they had to settle for a share of the points, leaving the final score 1-1 in this game

Antrim Rovers U12s 4 Northend United U12s 1                                       Monday 23rd April 2012

This was a below par performance from Northend that saw them go 2-0 down in the first half of this match. Antrim raced to a 3-0 lead early in the second half before Daniel Bell scored the goal of the game when he was on hand to beat the Antrim keeper with a good shot after excellent one touch passing play from Graeme McCartney and Jordan Adams.

However the Blues failed to capitalise on this opportunity against Antrim and allowed them to go on and score another goal before the close of play to lave the final score of this match 4-1 to Antrim Rovers

Antrim Colts U12s 1 Northend United U12s 1                                       Saturday 21st April 2012

Northend and Antrim Colts put on a great game of football at Mallusk on Saturday and a draw was a fair result with Northend the better team in the first half and the Colts the better in the second but it could of been a different story if Northend had took all their chances in the first twenty minutes.
Northend made a few changes from their midweek game and pushed Antrim back from the first whistle and Graham McCartney and Jordan Adams missed good chances before McCartney put United 1-0 when James Hayburn played a great ball which split the Antrim defence and McCartney ran onto it and slide the ball past the Antrim keeper. Northend should of gone further infront when Daniel Bell was played in and was one on one with the keeper and he could only watch as his shot went narrowly wide of the post. Half time score 1-0 to Northend.

Northend again started well and were trying to get in behind the Colts defence and Antrim were doing the same to Northend but the backline of Stock, Miller, Shaw and Captain Aaron Campbell cut out any danger. The game went from end to end and Antrim finally got on the score sheet when their winger chased a lost ball which was going out but he pulled it back and the Antrim striker struck the ball into the roof of the net from close range giving Josh Mark in goal no chance.

Loughside U12s 3 Northend United U12s 6                                               Monday 16th April 2012

Northend got into the grove very quickly with Kuba Babuszewski and Daniel Bell linking up well to send James O'Loughlin through on goal in the first minute and he placed it into the far bottom corner to put United 1-0. Northend should have added a few more to their tally before Loughside levelled the score and then they went infront when a mix up in the United defence allowed the Loughside player a simple tap in made it 2-1. Loughside were now on top and Northend could not hold onto the ball and it took a goal late on in the first half from Daniel Bell to pull them back into the game. Half time score 2-2

Northend came out a different team in the second-half and scored a great goal when James Hayburn received the ball out the left wing and went past two players and chipped the ball over the keeper and into the top corner to put United 3-2 up. Loughside again levelled the score before Daniel Bell got more involved in the game and scored three times to put Northend into a commanding lead and finished the game 6-3.

Carrick Rangers U12s 3  Northend United U12s  0                                Saturday 14th April 2014

Northend where well up for this game, as they had lost heavily to Carrick early in the season. Northend should have been infront as early as the tenth minute when Matthew Kirk was one on one with the keeper and he had to watch his shot crash of the cross-bar and it was cleared away. Northend then lost a player and played the rest of the half with ten players. The score remained 0-0 at half-time.

Carrick started to put more pressure on Northend and scored their first goal in the middle of the second-half and added two late goals to win 3-0. This was a fantastic performance from the ten men of Northend who battled for every ball.

Northend United U12s  5  Barn United U12s  2                                         Monday 26th March 2012

Northend controlled the early part of the game and missed a few good chances before Barn when infront against the run of play when they were allowed to cross the ball into the box and their player tapped into the net. Northend responded well with a well taken goal by Tyler Evans and the same player put Northend infront but again Northend shot themselves in the foot and allowed Barn to get back into the game when they levelled the score before half-time. Half time score 2-2

Northend made a few changes and they quickly went infront again when Daniel Bell scored then Graham McCartney headed home from a cross into the box and Matthew Kirk turned smartly to volley home to kill the game.

St. Andrews U12s  3  Northend United U12s  1                                           Saturday 24th March 2012

This was a game that Northend should have wrapped up in the first half with the chances they had but they went in at half-time 1-1.
Northend had a great start when they went infront after 40 seconds when Daniel Bell headed home with a bullet header into the St. Andrews goal giving their keeper no chance. Northend had St. Andrews under the cosh and should of scored from another corner and when Jordan Stock was through on goal they should of extended their lead but the keeper pulled of a good save. St Andrews came more into the game and drew level when they won a corner and the smallest player on the pitch at the front post flicked home to draw level just before half-time.

This game moved from one end to the other with the St. Andrews defence playing well and Joss Mark in the Northend goal in brilliant form and he needed to be at times. St. Andrews went infront after Northend failed to clear a ball and the St .Andrews player drilled home from close range. Northend pushed for a equalizer and could of and should of but for their final ball and they were made to pay when St. Andrews caught them with another goal.
